Welcome to my cancer video library, where I share my experience living with stage 4 cancer, along with videos about cancer treatment, CT scans and scanxiety, immunotherapy, nutrition, treatment side effects, recovery, and the lessons I’ve learned throughout my cancer journey.
After more than four years of fighting cancer, I’ve experienced radiation therapy, chemotherapy, major surgery, immunotherapy, CT scans, PET scans, MRIs, treatment complications, and the uncertainty that comes with living from one scan to the next.
These cancer videos are designed for patients, survivors, caregivers, and families looking for practical information and the perspective of someone who has actually lived through cancer treatment.
I am not a doctor, and these videos are not medical advice. I share my personal experiences, the questions I’ve asked, what I’ve learned, and the strategies I’ve used during my own cancer journey. Always discuss treatment decisions with your medical team.
CT Scan Anxiety: Coping With Scanxiety Before and After Your Scan
For many cancer patients, the CT scan itself isn’t the hardest part. It’s the anxiety leading up to the scan and the uncertainty of waiting for the results. That feeling is often called scanxiety.
In this video, I share my personal experience with CT scan anxiety after years of cancer treatment and repeated CT scans, PET scans, and MRIs. I talk about the worry and endless “what ifs” that can take over your thoughts before a cancer scan and the difficult waiting period after the results appear in your patient portal but before you’ve discussed them with your oncologist.
I also introduce my FREE CT Scan Week Scanxiety Survival Checklist, a practical guide I created to help cancer patients prepare for scan week, manage the waiting period, organize questions for their oncologist, and feel more prepared for what lies ahead.
If you or someone you love experiences anxiety around cancer scans, this video and free guide were created for you.

Understanding Cancer Treatment Options
What I Wish I Knew About Cancer Treatments
When I was first diagnosed with cancer, I quickly learned that cancer treatment isn’t always a simple choice between chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery. There can be multiple treatment options, different combinations of therapies, and difficult decisions about potential benefits, side effects, and quality of life.
In this video, I share what I wish I had understood earlier about making cancer treatment decisions. I discuss the importance of asking questions, understanding your options, getting additional opinions when appropriate, and becoming an active participant in your own care. My experience has included radiation, chemotherapy, surgery, immunotherapy, and navigating treatment decisions after my cancer became Stage 4.
Every person’s cancer and treatment plan is different. My goal isn’t to tell you which treatment to choose, but to encourage you to learn, ask questions, and have informed conversations with your medical team.

Vitamin D, Sunshine & Cancer
Can Morning Sunshine and Vitamin D Play a Role in Cancer?
After my Stage 4 cancer diagnosis, I became much more interested in understanding how nutrition, vitamin D, sunlight, sleep, and other lifestyle factors might support my overall health alongside cancer treatment. One area I began researching was the relationship between vitamin D, sunshine, and cancer.
In this video, I share what I learned about getting regular morning sunlight, how sunlight helps regulate the body’s circadian rhythm, and why vitamin D has attracted considerable attention in cancer research. I also discuss how these ideas became part of my personal routine while living with Stage 4 cancer.
Vitamin D and sunlight are not substitutes for cancer treatment, and research continues into their potential roles in cancer prevention, outcomes, and overall health. My goal is to share my experience and the research I’ve discovered so you can discuss what’s appropriate for you with your medical team.

Vitamin D and Cancer: Why I Made It Part of My Treatment
After my Stage 4 cancer diagnosis, I began researching factors that might support my health alongside conventional cancer treatment. One topic that kept appearing was the relationship between vitamin D and cancer. The research interested me enough that monitoring and addressing my vitamin D levels became part of my personal approach.
In this video, I share why vitamin D became important to me, what I learned while researching vitamin D and cancer, and how it fits into my broader cancer journey. I also discuss the difference between sharing my personal experience and claiming that vitamin D can treat cancer. Research continues to examine associations between vitamin D status and cancer risk, progression, and outcomes, but vitamin D should not be viewed as a replacement for proven cancer treatments.
My goal is to encourage cancer patients to learn, ask questions, and discuss vitamin D testing and supplementation with their healthcare team.

H2: Nutrition & Cancer Videos
Carnivore Diet for Beginners: What I Learned Getting Started
After my Stage 4 cancer diagnosis, I began taking a much closer look at nutrition, metabolism, and the foods I was putting into my body. That research eventually led me to try a carnivore diet as part of my personal approach to nutrition while continuing to work with my medical team.
In this video, I explain the basics of the carnivore diet for beginners, including what I eat, what I eliminated, and some of the lessons I learned when getting started. I also discuss why I became interested in reducing carbohydrates and processed foods and focusing primarily on animal-based, nutrient-dense foods.
The carnivore diet is not a cancer treatment, and my experience should not be interpreted as medical or nutritional advice. Cancer patients can have unique nutritional needs, particularly during treatment. My goal is to share what I chose to do, why I made those choices, and what I learned along the way.

Carnivore Diet Mistakes: What I Learned Along the Way
When I started the carnivore diet after my Stage 4 cancer diagnosis, I quickly discovered that eating only animal based foods sounds simpler than it actually is. There are decisions about what foods to eat, getting enough protein and fat, hydration, electrolytes, food quality, and how your body responds as you change your diet.
In this video, I share some of the carnivore diet mistakes I made and lessons I learned through my own experience. I also discuss things I would do differently if I were starting the carnivore diet again. My goal is to help others learn from my experience rather than assuming there is only one correct way to follow this way of eating.
The carnivore diet is not a cancer treatment, and my experience should not be considered medical or nutritional advice. If you have cancer or another medical condition, significant dietary changes should be discussed with your healthcare team.
