One More Thing Before You Go
When your CT scan results become available, especially if they appear in your patient portal before your oncology appointment, try not to let one unfamiliar word or phrase send you down a path of fear.
Write down your questions.
Take a breath.
Remember that the radiology report is only one part of the picture. Your oncologist can help put those findings into the context of your previous scans, treatment history, symptoms, and overall health.
That’s one of the reasons I created this checklist.
