A Birthday Blessed by a Miracle
On November 1, I turned 57. This birthday felt like more than just another year; it was a gift from God. Before my CT scan in September, I understood the statistics were grim and the prognosis was bleak, but I also believed with all my heart that God and the universe would provide a path forward. When my doctor shared the results showing that the cancer spots in my lungs had begun to shrink, I knew that faith and persistence were working. It was more than medical progress; it was a miracle, and a sign that I could not only survive but truly live again.
Facing Stage Four With Faith
When I was first diagnosed with stage four cancer, the reality hit hard. The cancer had spread from my neck and lymph nodes to my lungs, and the outlook was not good. I had undergone surgery, radiation, and conventional treatments that left me weak, scarred, and in constant pain. But even in those darkest moments, I held onto my belief that there had to be more, more knowledge, more healing, more life ahead.
The Woman Who Refused to Give Up
My wife shared that belief. From the very beginning, she refused to accept that this diagnosis was the end of my story. She spent countless hours researching, reading, and connecting with others who had beaten the odds. Sarah was the one who first introduced me to the world of alternative and integrative cancer medicine. She gathered information on high-dose vitamin C, Ivermectin, Fenbendazole, Methylene Blue, and nutritional therapies. When it became clear that these approaches might offer hope, she took charge and organized a trip for us to visit an alternative cancer treatment specialist. That visit became the turning point in my care, and possibly in my life.
Combining Faith, Medicine, and Hope
With my wife’s encouragement and faith, I began combining traditional and alternative treatments under medical supervision. My oncologist prescribed Keytruda, which I take every three weeks. At the same time, I added high-dose vitamin C infusions, Methylene Blue, Ivermectin, Fenbendazole, and nutritional supplements to support my body’s healing process. I also adopted a modified Carnivore diet, cutting sugars and carbohydrates to help starve the cancer’s fuel source. I’ve seen measurable improvement, renewed energy, and a restored sense of hope that I pray every patient can experience.
Enduring the Pain, Holding Onto the Promise
Chemotherapy was an option, but I chose not to continue with it because of its damaging effects. The previous rounds I endured caused neuropathy in my feet, every step feels like walking on pins, and radiation left deep scar tissue in my neck, leading to nerve pain and loss of strength in my left arm. Despite the challenges, I work with a physical therapist to rebuild my shoulder and arm movement. Every small improvement feels like another answered prayer.
Faith, Partnership, and Perseverance
Every morning, I thank God for another sunrise, for the strength to keep going, and for my family and friends. Your love, prayers, and support are the reasons I’m still here. My support team’s faith never wavered, and their determination gave me the tools to keep fighting when I was at my weakest.
A Home Too Big for Our Bodies, But Never Our Hearts
My wife and I own a large two-story home that we love. It’s full of memories, but with both of our medical challenges, it’s become too much to maintain. The daily trips up and down the stairs are slowly becoming a burden. We are still young but someday we won’t be. We’ve realized it’s time to find something smaller —a single-level home that’s safer, easier to manage, and better suited to our new reality. Once we move, we hope to rent out our current home to help ease the financial burden of ongoing treatment and relocation expenses.
Sharing My Journey to Help Others
I share my story on my blog, WaynesCancerJourney.com, so that others can learn from what I’ve discovered and find hope in their own battles. I want people to know that faith, medicine, and belief in the power of the universe can coexist and that healing comes in many forms. I’m living proof that miracles still happen.
Faith in Action: Why I Need Your Help
But this journey has come with immense financial strain. Between infusions, supplements, and co-pays, the expenses are overwhelming. Every donation, no matter the size, helps me continue the treatments that are working and allows my wife and me to keep moving forward with faith and stability.
Help Us Continue This Miracle Journey
If my story has touched your heart, I humbly ask for your support. Your generosity helps fund the treatments that are saving my life and brings us closer to the peace of a simpler, safer home.
Your kindness, prayers, and compassion keep us going. The same divine hand that has guided us this far will continue to light the way forward for us and for everyone still searching for their own miracle.
